A NOTE FROM JEFF CHAPIN
Sleep is one of our most basic human needs. We’re working hard to help everyone sleep better, dream better, and live better. But we’re also dedicated to making another basic need more accessible: clean water.
I’ve worked alongside USAID, the World Bank, and the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation to improve water quality in Cambodia, Vietnam, and Kenya. And my Casper co-founder Neil Parikh started Water Walla in 2009 to improve access to clean water for underserved communities worldwide. So it is our honor to continue this work with Casper.
In honor of charity: water’s 10th birthday on September 7th, we’re funding the construction of BioSand Filters for two communities in Cambodia, a country that uses rainfall as its main source of water. These filters can bring clean water to more than 1000 people by removing harmful bacteria from dirty water.
Congratulations to charity: water on their first 10 years as one of the world’s most active organizations in the clean water effort. And a huge thank you to you — the Casper community — for helping us support a cause that is so near and dear to us.
