Glow is a touch lamp — which, as you might have guessed, means touch and movement are all important when using it. To dim the lamp (and set a more ambient mood in your bedroom) simply twist it until you hit your desired light level.
You can enjoy the Glow without the app -- the magic of a portable, cozy, flexible light is in your hands right out of the box.
That said, the app offers additional customization features like syncing multiple Glows, customizing light settings, and even scheduling a wake-up! We wanted to create a sleep technology that doesn't feel technical. So while the app gives you a lot of control, you shouldn't expect it to be part of your daily bedtime routine.
Yes. Your Glow lamp is a portable light device (or, as we like to see it — the perfect nightlight for midnight snack missions). Just return it to its wireless charging station when it needs a little power boost.
It is true that certain types of light can impact the quality of your sleep, which is why we created the Glow to produce a warm hue of 2700k — this means it gives out little to no “blue light” which has been shown to be disruptive to natural sleep rhythms. Glow also turns off on its own so you can drift-off without worrying. Sweet dreams all round!
If your Glow Light isn’t responding, there are two main things that will help; charging and rebooting. It’s possible that Glow is unresponsive because it has lost power. Give it at least 3 hours on the charger and try again. To reboot, hold both buttons for up to 90 seconds.

The negative reviews are honestly so surprising/confusing to me. My husband and I have each had one of these lights on our nightstands for the past 4+ years and we have not experienced a single issue with the charging base or any of the other technical difficulties that others have mentioned. Maybe they're slamming the light back onto the base too forcefully? I am notoriously bad at waking up to get to work on time, especially in the winters when it stays so dark in the mornings. If it weren't for this light, my brain would still think it was the middle of the night. I often wake up because of this light rather than the backup alarm that I always set, just in case.

I love how I can adjust the amount of light so easily just by twisting the light. It doesn't put out a blinding or glaring light, so it's easy to fall back asleep. I also like how it gradually fades from fully bright to off.
