Which mattress size is right for you?

When picking your next mattress, it’s more than just personal preference—two key things to keep in mind are how much room you have and who’s sleeping in the bed.

Upgrading to a King mattress is a game-changer if you’re sharing space with kids or pets. And if you’re tall, the extra length of a California King could be just right.

A Full size mattress is ideal for young adults or those with a smaller bedroom, while a Queen is the top pick for couples or anyone who enjoys extra space to sprawl out.

The Twin is the smallest option, ideal for single sleepers. While the Twin XL is a dorm favorite it can also create a Split King if you purchase two.

Which pillow size is right for you?

Pillow sizes can vary, but standard pillows, also known as queen pillows, are typically suitable for all types of sleepers. If you prefer extra space or need to fill the width of a larger mattress, king-size pillows, which are about 30% larger, are a great choice.

You can use your Glow with or without the app. That said, we highly recommend giving the app a try for even more magic!
Download the app for iOS and devices. You can use it to create and manage Glow groups, schedule a wake up, and customize the settings on your Glow to make it your own.

Frequently asked questions

How do I dim the Glow lamp?

Glow is a touch lamp — which, as you might have guessed, means touch and movement are all important when using it. To dim the lamp (and set a more ambient mood in your bedroom) simply twist it until you hit your desired light level.

Do I have to download the app to use my Glow?

You can enjoy the Glow without the app -- the magic of a portable, cozy, flexible light is in your hands right out of the box.

That said, the app offers additional customization features like syncing multiple Glows, customizing light settings, and even scheduling a wake-up! We wanted to create a sleep technology that doesn't feel technical. So while the app gives you a lot of control, you shouldn't expect it to be part of your daily bedtime routine.

Can the Glow bedside lamp be used when it's unplugged?

Yes. Your Glow lamp is a portable light device (or, as we like to see it — the perfect nightlight for midnight snack missions). Just return it to its wireless charging station when it needs a little power boost.

Is sleeping with a lamp on bad for your sleep?

It is true that certain types of light can impact the quality of your sleep, which is why we created the Glow to produce a warm hue of 2700k — this means it gives out little to no “blue light” which has been shown to be disruptive to natural sleep rhythms. Glow also turns off on its own so you can drift-off without worrying. Sweet dreams all round!

My Glow is not responding to any gestures or button presses. Help!

If your Glow Light isn’t responding, there are two main things that will help; charging and rebooting. It’s possible that Glow is unresponsive because it has lost power. Give it at least 3 hours on the charger and try again. To reboot, hold both buttons for up to 90 seconds.
