The Casper Down Duvet features ethically sourced down feathers certified by the Responsible Down Standard (RDS).

Do I need to use a duvet cover with the Casper duvet?

We strongly encourage using one! Similar to using a pillowcase with your pillow, protecting your Casper duvet with a duvet cover will help safeguard it against sweat, dirt, and stains — and it can easily be regularly thrown in the wash with the rest of your linens.

Will my duvet cover work with my Casper duvet?

We designed the Down Duvet, Down Alternative Duvet, and Humidity-Fighting Duvet to work specifically with the Casper sheets, but you can also use your existing sheet set or duvet cover. Just be sure to double-check the dimensions, as our duvets were consciously designed to be slightly oversized.

What’s the difference between a duvet and a comforter?

Here’s the deal: a duvet is a type of bedding that’s commonly filled with down or wool materials. A comforter functions as a quilted blanket and is often filled with synthetic fibers. While both can be protected by duvet covers, comforters are more often sold with sheet sets.
