The Casper Snug™ is CertiPUR-US Certified, meaning it is made without ozone depleting chemicals and regulated by the Consumer Product Safety Commission Low VOC (Volatile Organic Compound) emissions for indoor air quality (less than 0.5 parts per million).

The Casper Snug is a medium-firm foam mattress composed of three layers that work together to help kids sleep comfortably through the night. As kids grow over time, you can count on the durable Casper Core to remain supportive, while Breathe Flex Foam and Soothe Memory Foam provide consistent airflow and pressure relief.

When selecting a pillow for a child, we recommend low loft, allergen-free material that’s firm enough for your child’s head to rest comfortably. It is crucial that they have enough support to maintain good sleep posture through the night.

The Original Pillow is our dreamy down-alternative pillow, filled with tiny silky fibers that balance softness and support. Our unique pillow-in-pillow design allows you to adjust the loft to your child’s preference. This pillow is also machine washable, helping protect against mold, dust mites, and bacteria.

The Casper Snug foam mattress is only available in twin and full size. Having the correct support ensures the comfort and longevity of our foam mattresses. Casper mattresses are designed to work on a firm, solid surface like our foundation. For slatted frames, we recommend using bed slats that are flat, wooden, and no more than 4 inches apart. 

With a height of 8 inches, the Snug is also compatible with most standard bunk bed frames.

The best time to transition from a toddler bed varies by child but here are some signs to look out for:

• Approaching the size/weight limit of current toddler bed
• Difficulty getting or staying comfortable
• Sneaking into your bedroom at nighttime
