Casper vs Nectar: Why Choose a Casper Mattress?

With six different mattresses so you can find your perfect match, Casper is in the business of quality sleep. The Casper Original Mattress' ergonomic design and innovative cooling technology is engineered for comfort at prices that won’t break the bank.

Compared to Casper’s six different mattresses, Nectar only offers three options: a Memory Foam, Premier Memory Foam, and Premier Copper Memory Foam. The body of the Nectar Memory Foam mattress is made of three foam layers with uniform support throughout.

Ultimately, the choice is up to you. Both brands offer all-foam, premium mattresses. Where they differ is in pressure relief, firmness, and models available. The Casper Original Mattress is designed for targeted pressure relief with three ergonomic zones of support. It has a medium firmness that is great for all sleeping positions, especially side sleepers. Casper also has more models available than Nectar, so you can find your perfect fit for a great night’s sleep. On top of that, Casper offers the option to add coils to your bed if you need some extra weight support. Similar to the all-foam mattress, our Casper Original Hybrid mattress option gives you that same soft, foam feel, but with extra support.

We understand that buying a mattress is a big investment. Given you spend about one-third of your life in bed, you should take your time deciding and be sure to weigh the pros and cons of each option.

Casper - Cool as a Breeze: The precision-drilled perforations and highly breathable foams in the Casper AirScape™ system are designed to allow fresh air to cool you all night long. With 1.5" of perforated foam, the Casper Original Mattress is designed to regulate temperature effectively.

Nectar - Mediocre Memory Foam: The Nectar Memory Foam has a thinner 1" layer of gel memory foam, which may not provide the same level of temperature regulation as the Casper AirScape™ system.
