"It's just okay. I bought it to add a comfort layer to a sofa bed that is serviceable if a little on the firm side, and a tad uncomfortable at the seams. I sometimes sleep on it with our dog, and iI needed to do something to make it more comfortable for myself as well as any guests we might have (and also for the dog, of course). The foam topper itself arrived wrapped in plastic, but the cover was just messily folded and loose in the box. That looked like it had been used before. Setup was easy enough, and it didn't smell like much of anything, which I appreciated. We have a regular Casper mattress in our primary bedroom and love it — it's our second from Casper and we will likely stick with the brand for mattresses — but the topper was a disappointment. I wouldn't buy it again, but I decided to forego the hassle of returning it and will try to make it work. Since I got it to replace what I thought was an inferior old topper from Ikea that I haven't disposed of yet, I might combine the two and see if, together, they do the trick."
