We first bought the frame

"We first bought the frame that fits on top of a metal bed frame. That placed our 14" mattress so high that my wife (5' 3") struggled to get into and out of bed. At 6' 3" I was just able to get into bed keeping my feet (really my toes) on the floor. The Upholstered Bed Frame raises the mattress just 6" above the floor, resulting in a 20" height for the bed, making it easy for both of us to get into and out of the bed. That Casper let us return the original frame for a refund made it easier to buy the Upholstered Bed Frame."
